This is a mistake; since some of the most popular Starbucks drinks can contain more calories than a disgusting double whatever at the fast food drive thru.

A friend of mine loves Starbucks… And cannot begin her day without her favorite mocha frappucino.

I pointed out that this mocha frapp weighed in at right around 500 calories per drink…

And that made her stop for a second…

Since she never had never really thought about what exactly was in her favorite Starbucks recipe.

So I did a little research on the most popular Starbucks drinks and their calorie counts…

And maybe think about a lower calorie alternative…

Since some of these coffee drinks are just the same as starting out your day with two massive slices of chocolate cake…

The List

All the drinks in this list are Venti size and use Starbucks’ recommended options.

Any modifications, such as a different kind of milk, will change the calorie counts in each drink.

White Chocolate Mocha (580 Calories)

Java Chip Frappuccino (580 Calories & 21g of total fat)

White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino (550 Calories)

Peppermint Hot Chocolate (550 Calories… What else has this many calories? A Big Mac at McDonalds)

Salted Caramel Mocha (510 Calories)

Mocha Frappuccino (500 Calories & 79g of sugar… there are 28g in an ounce so… think about that)
